Install Fantastico – Quick and easy tutorial on how to install Fantastico on to your VPS or Dedicated Server for cPanel/WHM.
Firstly, login to your server through root SSH – If you need an SSH client you can download Putty here.
Enter the commands below one by one:
wget -N http://files.betaservant.com/files/free/fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
tar -xzpf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
rm -rf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
2.1: Login to your WHM
2.2: Scroll down your navigation to the bottom, you will need to find the ‘Plugins’ section (or Add-Ons depending on your cPanel/WHM version).
2.3: Locate ‘Fantastico De Luxe Admin’ and open it
2.4: Now just follow the instructions to complete the installation of Fantastico.
2.5: Once the installation is complete, you can access the Fantastico client interface through any of your cPanel accounts.
If you receive the “Source Guardian Error” when you visit the Fantastico client interface, run the command:
If you can’t see the Fantastico option within your cPanel accounts then:
1. Go to WHM
2. Edit the ‘Default Features List’
3. Select to activate Fantastico

I wasn’t aware of the fact that there was such an easy way from the command line to install it. I guess for most people this will seem a bit intimidating but you only need to do it once and don’t need to learn a lot of jargon.

Fantastico is easy to install, if there are such nice tutorial is available to guide users. I think you should also add a video or some pictures to makes the thing more easier.
